Water Treatment Plant Executive (WTP Executive)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Water Treatment Plant Executive (WTP Executive) to oversee the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and quality control of the Water Treatment Plant. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted water treatment operations, compliance with safety and environmental standards, and efficient plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor Water Treatment Plant (WTP) equipment and systems.
  • Conduct regular water quality testing and maintain treatment parameters.
  • Monitor chemical dosing, filtration, and purification processes.
  • Maintain daily operational logs, reports, and records.Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Monitor pumps, valves, pipelines, and associated equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of chemicals, consumables, and spare parts.
  • Support internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards within the plant.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, and contractors as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), or Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations.
  • Knowledge of water treatment processes, pumps, motors, and chemical handling.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office, reporting, and record maintenance.
